Wow, the time is coming when Doc Savage will once more take his rightful place at the head of pop culture! Harry Knowles of Aint-It-Cool-News has revealed that Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci of Star Trek and Transformers is producing a new movie! With Shane "Lethal Weapon" Black providing the script! WOW! Too awesome! And to whet your appetite, DC Comics is releasing a Doc Savage/Batman crossover comic that will lead into a new comic book series! HALLELUJAH! What a great time to be a Doc Savage fan!

Ideally, Arnold would have been a perfect Doc, but being Govenator for the past six years has probably taken its toll on him. Would Dwayne Johnson be a suitable replacement? I'd vote for Ron Perlman as Monk though. That would be spot on casting! Pierce Brosnon for Ham, perhaps? Jessica Biel as Pat? How about Hugh Laurie as Long Tom? Hmm, this could be very interesting - or very stupid! (see "George Pal" for further details!)

I've been gone for who knows how many months (I think maybe eight) and decide to give this place another look see. Wow! A plethora of wonderful Doc Savage art! More than twice what there was before, and posted in far less time. Is old Doc Savage making a comeback? I certainly hope so! Good job to all the artists who worked so hard. Makes me happy to see such love for such a classic character!
